B&H 7 was the last engine to come up to Maine from S. Carver Mass because there was trouble getting the funding, but it made it up and is getting a full restoration. This Baldwin built locomotive was also recently in a fire but suffered few damages because it was apart for the restoration.

B&SR #7 was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as #40864 in December of 1913 as Bridgton & Saco River #7. It rides on a 33 ton outside frame, has a 2-4-4RT wheel arrangement, a 42″ diameter 180 psi boiler, 12″ x 16″ cylinders, 35″ drivers and a rear tank carries 1000 gallons water & 1.5 tons coal. This locomotive served as Bridgton & Saco River #7 from 1907 to 1930, as Bridgton & Harrison #7 from 1930 to 1941, and Edaville #7 from 1946 to 2003, and as Bridgton & Harrison #7 at the Maine Narrow Gauge from 2003 to the present.
